However, Maguire showed reporters during the Women\u2019s PGA Championship that her hand was swollen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>She described the blister as a &#8220;pepperoni,&#8221; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/golfweek.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/golf\/lpga\/2025\/06\/19\/kpmg-womens-pga-2025-leona-maguire-tick-bites\/84279148007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Golf Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s made my skin like tissue paper,&#8221; she told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/golf-legend-annika-sorenstam-speaks-glowingly-caitlin-clark-after-teaming-up-pro-am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GOLF LEGEND ANNIKA SORENSTAM SPEAKS GLOWINGLY OF CAITLIN CLARK AFTER TEAMING UP AT PRO-AM<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Texas heat didn\u2019t help Maguire much during the tournament. She finished the first round of the Women\u2019s PGA Championship four strokes behind leader Jeeno Thitikul but fell off the pace.<\/p>\n<p>She shot a 76 in the final round and finished tied for 19th with Nelly Korda, Miranda Wang and Youmin Hwang. Minjee Lee won the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Huge thanks to @KPMG and @kpmgsports for their continued commitment to elevating women\u2019s golf and for the excellent hospitality this week,&#8221; Maguire wrote in post on her Instagram account. &#8220;@kpmgwomenspga PGA Frisco was a tough test \u2014 the wind didn\u2019t let up, but neither did we! Nice to be back in the business end of things on a Sunday afternoon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Maguire has been on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/lpga-tour-legend-annika-sorenstam-appreciates-paige-spiranac-other-golf-influencers-efforts-grow-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LPGA Tour<\/a> since 2020.
